Greetings And Nothing Much Really

First things first, ladies, here is a post you should all be reading. Kaasa On The Ladies. I hope you get some information there or just get to understand what the ladies feel about some of these issues.

Onto other things, the reason I haven't really blogged since I got to the new place is that I just discovered that one of my favourite bloggers is actually one of my bosses and they read this blog every now and again. The said person called me into their offices to tell me this and to tell you the truth, the shock has not worn off yet.

You all know that among other things, I blog about my life, my worries, my personal stuff that I assure you no one on God's green earth knows except for you dear bloggers. Take it from what you read here is the gospel truth, no exaggeration, no entertainment, which is why anonymity is such a big deal for me and I love the fact that I can say anything here without fear of judgement. It has been a little hard to decide whether to continue posting my business up in here or not, I am still waiting to see.

So the blogger who wrote me an email yesterday to tell me, "Keep writing, i have been checking your blog and i think you are becoming lazier,or the job is really demanding..." I say I am not really becoming lazy, the truth is, the job is somewhat demanding and now the fact that I am not as anonymous as I used to be has really thrown me off balance.

And in other matters, I just love the way you guys are. For me blogging has been such a blessing and I have made tons of e-friends and this week someone wrote me a long email and then ended it like this:

"Share with me only what you are comfortable sharing - this whole "knowing" people only through cyberspace is a tricky balancing act. :-) But while I am at it, allow me also to say: thanks for always being such positive energy for me in the blogosphere! If ever I felt I made a friend through blogging, it would have to be you. :-)

I wish you all the best!"

I can tell you I still have tears in my eyes and I read it early on in the week! I just wanted you guys to know that I love you all very much!

(Yes! I went and got myself these signature thingies I saw at Sultana's and Sibbie's.)

Nice weekend.

Mama,

So your cover's blown, eh? Hehehe... :-)

Love to you and have a good weekend.

Mama 08 November 2009 10:40

Kaasa, you can say that again!

Poor Mama, I'd rather have my father read my blog than my boss!

I hope this particular higher-up is decent enough to keep the knowledge of your blog to themselves.

Anyway, you keep doing your thing. Nice blog. Now, about that biriani... lol...

KR 08 November 2009 17:00

You write well so I do hope you keep writing.

Shiko-Msa 09 November 2009 11:26

Hahahaha. *Insert evil laugh like for that lady of Dalmatians 101*.

Cover has been blooooown, cover has been blooown. Si you know that tune.

I'm on a mission to meet my favourite bloggers and tweeps and you Miss Anonymous are top on my list. Whatever is left of your cover after your boss blew it off shall be smithereens soonest. hehehehehe. I'm so laughing at you right now.

Lucky girl you had not started blogging about said boss's table manners, dressing style and stuff!! I know I blogged about my boss's lack of computer skills.

S.P.O.I.L.E.R!!!

Shame Mama, could you by any chance do what Kaasa tried to do with her blog, hoping I shall be one of those who shall have access to your blog. Needless to say I enjoy reading you.

Meanwhile for a moment I tried the guessing game on who your boss could be...and for a moment I was thinking it could be Our kid coz you both are Attorneys, but then again he too would be 'under threat' with you having access to his saucy blog. You wouldnt say:)

Wa! Your boss is a blogger and reads your blog?! Pole. I can imagine how that would make you feel like not blogging ever again. But then again, can't you agree to just both keep your secret blogging lives just that - secret. I am sure this boss is also in a serious dilemma! Whatever the case, I hope we don't loose both of you bloggers to the realities of the real world! :-)

...and all that is done and said shall one day come to the light, the question is to whose enlighment. Pole..if you can still blog faithfully on issues that you think its safe for the boss to know..keep posting..if not..find a solution,like..since both of you i presume are artoneys, sign an agreement to keep your blogging out of office..and deposit it with me..and blog forever..dont you do a Kabuga on us!!!

First my apologies for not having been here in a long time.

I feel you on anonimity. I have been away too and at times I find writing a very personal post very difficult and it has slowed my writing.

Funny that your boss is one of your favorite bloggers and reads your posts. How he/she came to uncover you is a mystery we would like to know.

Val 10 November 2009 21:16

Hey mama :)

Your boss is a blogger? And reads this? Wululu...I also don't know what I'd do...very few know the person behind my handle....and def none from where I've worked...(some rants can never be read..lol)

But keep blogging!!

What a small blogosphere we dwell in.

Mama 11 November 2009 10:56

Even I would love to find out how they uncovered me. It's also a big mystery to me.

KR, welcome aboard never seen you around these parts.

hi.. just dropping by here... have a nice day! http://kantahanan.blogspot.com/

ah yes, the classic (internet) blogger and websphere conundrum, the less that is known of the contributor/blogger, the more passion, depth and breadth in discussion, emotion and expression. strange that we chose to learn more about or from those whom we know the least about, as soon as that mystery/anonymity is removed, the thrill dissipates at the same speed that an over inflated balloon collapses when in contact with a needle point object/pin.

the challenge here my dear is to remain true to yourself, because as you've said, although you prefer to shield your identity, what you write is all true, and therefore there is nothing to be ashamed of or fear but everything to be proud of.

hehehe put the name of the blogger in a "mama list" and send to annan, mwambie if said blogger does not confess apeleke huko ICC kwa ocampo

The Beloved
